At Stromness Nursery we strive to offer a nurturing environment in which children are able to learn through following their interests, being curious and creative in their play inside and out.
To facilitate this, we offer a wide range of open-ended resources and interesting spaces to explore, lots of opportunities for social development and through sensitive interactions with the practitioners in the nursery.
We value and work in partnership with families and sometimes with other relevant professionals. Our team works with parents and carers to get to know the children well and support them by building on what they already know and the skills they have to extend their learning in addition to meeting their wellbeing needs.
